- Enter Title of this event and select whether this is a Special Event*.
- * Special Event – If you select an event to be posted as a special event, this event will be posted in a special place on the homepage as well as in the news box. Whatever image you choose for this event, will be displayed in that special spot and it will become a link to the Homepage Events news page. Please make sure the image for the special event is of size 226 * 203 and the resolution is 300 dpi. If you opt not to select it to be a special event, the event will still show in the news box and on the Homepage Events page.
- Enter description of this event. We recommend using one font type for all events but there are many different formatting options to choose from when entering the description.
- Note: If you are copying the description from another program (ex. Word document) we strongly recommend copying the text into Notepad first and then copy and paste it from Notepad into the description field. The reason for this is that many programs add formatting code which you can’t see. Once you copy the text with the code to the description field, the formatting will be different and it may not match. The best thing to do is to paste it into Notepad which removes any formatting and then copy and paste it here and add your own format.
- You can add image to be displayed on the right or left side of the text you are entering.
- To do so first select the image format from the Format dropdown menu.
- You have a choice of Right Image or Left Image.
- Once you make your choice, a new dropdown menu will show below. Use this dropdown menu to choose an image which you would like to post with this event.
- You can choose from images which are already there or you can upload your own image using the Add Image button.
- Once you click on the Add Image button a small window will open.
- Locate the image on your computer using the Browse button and upload it once you are done.
- The next option is Attachments.
- You can add up to three attachments to any event.
- The attachments will be displayed as a link on the bottom of the event description.
- Users will be able to click on it and open it.
- To add an attachment click on the Attach link.

- Click on the Browse button to locate the file on your computer.
- Select the file and click on Upload. In the title textbox type a title of this attachment You can leave this blank if you’d like.

- Clicking on the Remove link will remove the current attachment.

You can change the sequence of how the events will be displayed on the Homepage Events page.

- Select that event by checking off the check box in the select column and click on the Preview button.
- On the preview page you will see all the events which are currently posted.
- Each event has a number in a little box on the bottom right side of that event. This number indicates the spot this event takes on the events page.
- To change the sequence of how this event is displayed, change the number in that box.
- For example if the number says 2 this means that this event is in the second place on the Homepage Events page.
- To move it to first place, change that number to 1.
- So this event will become event 1 and event 1 will become event 2.
- Once you are done making changes click on the Update Sequence button.
